The event will be held on May 22, 2025, in person at the Swissôtel Quito, Ecuador (Av. 12 de Octubre y Cordero).

The objective of the seminar is to create a space for reflection, multisectoral dialogue, and awareness-raising, allowing for the sharing of progress, the identification of challenges, the sharing of good practices, and the co-creation of proposals to strengthen participatory processes for the implementation of the Escazú Agreement in Ecuador.

The event is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition (MAATE) of Ecuador, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and Expertise France.
